National Museum of Natural History, Washington, D.C. 20004

About the company:

The National Museum of Natural History was founded in 1910 and is run by the Smithsonian Institution. It is located on the territory of the National Gallery, a famous landmark of Washington.

The collection of the National Museum includes more than 126 million specimens of animals, plants, minerals and fossils, meteorites, rocks, cultural and archaeological objects. The interior of the halls of the National Museum and the appearance of the exhibits amaze with their beauty. In the Ocean Hall, whose area is 200 square meters, large screens hang on the walls, on which visitors are shown films about marine life.

The National Museum's most valuable piece is the Henry Hope Diamond, named after a collector whose loved ones owned the jewel for more than 50 years. The Hope diamond is ironically referred to as “hope” because the object brought misfortune to all who encountered it.

Entrance to the National Museum of Natural History is free, the museum is open every day except Christmas.
