The port of El Kantaoui is a famous tourist entertainment center, which is located in one of the suburbs of Soussa. Port El Kantaoui was originally planned as a tourist-only city where the traditional Tunisian lifestyle would be presented in a freer and more democratic atmosphere. Construction began in 1975, and funds for the project were allocated by banks in Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. As a result of these joint efforts, the Port el Cantaoui Center was created in the style of ancient Mediterranean towns, capable of simultaneously hosting 300 yachts and sea boats.
In fact, the Port of El Kantawi is a completely autonomous walking area with a full range of all kinds of entertainment. And the beaches of Port el Cantaoui deserve to be included among the best in Tunisia.
