The Gulf of Tunisia is a large gulf of the Mediterranean Sea off the northern coast of Africa, washing the territory of Tunisia. On the southern shore of the bay, where the former capital of Carthage was located, the city of Tunis is now located. In the depths of the bay there is an artificial Bay Mandraki, created in antiquity.
