International Customs Day
Description:
Confirmation of the desire to build its customs policy on the basis of generally recognized norms and best customs practices was Ukraine's accession to the Convention on the Establishment of the World Customs Organization and full membership in this organization from November 10, 1992.
The active activity of the State Customs Service of Ukraine in the WTO is evidenced by the work of Ukraine in the Financial Committee in 1997-1998 and in the Political Commission in 1998-2000. Recently, Ukraine, thanks to cooperation with the World Customs Organization, is intensifying work on accession to international customs conventions.In addition to World Customs Day, Ukraine celebrates Customs Day.
