Monument to the feeder bull

The monument is dedicated to the main prey of local fishing crafts - the Azov goby. At the base of the monument there is a sign that reads: "Bullet - breadwinner". This small fish truly holds the well-being of the entire Ukrainian Azov region. Every day, hundreds of fishing schooners go fishing for gobies, which is then dried, dried and boiled to the table of numerous holidaymakers, thereby allowing thousands of Berdyansk families to live comfortably. However, this fish became a real salvation for the local population during the mass famine in Ukraine in the early 30s, as well as in the difficult postwar period.
