Plumbing monument

The monument to plumbing was installed in Berdyansk in 2003. The image of a communal worker is made with maximum reliability, which is lacking in similar sculptures in other cities. The Berdyansk plumber is wearing a knitted sweater and leather jacket, which were then used by plumbers to protect against harmful gases. Special attention should be paid to the hatch cover with the emblem of Yuzhgidromash - a local plant for the manufacture of pumping equipment. At the same time, the plumber himself is full of romance - he looks into the sky, leaning out of the sewer hatch. For more than two decades, the Berdyansk plumber is very much loved by citizens and tourists. The monument to a plumber or plumber is open five months a year, the rest of the time it is covered with rain and snow. The plumber always has a cigarette in his mouth.
