National cuisine is undoubtedly one of the reasons to be proud of our country. And cute sculptures that capture any of the popular dishes may well become not just an expression of national character, but also a compliment to the Motherland.
In Cherkasy, for example, there is a small monument to dumplings. Or rather, jarenica. Because the sculpture, installed in 2006, depicts one huge dumpling with an intricate pattern, against which the Cossack weaves the most popular Ukrainian dish.
The author of the beautiful monument made of ceramics is the sculptor Ivan Friser.
