The Sphere Fountain

The most beautiful and very unusual fountain "Sphere" is located on the embankment of Lenin in the city of Dnepropetrovsk, in Ukraine. This fountain is one of the youngest in the city and was opened in 2007. Initially, this fountain was mounted on the observation deck of the Shevchenko Park, but there it did not take root because of the strong wind. Citizens often call this fountain “ball” or “dandelion”, it owes, of course, its shape. At night, the "Sphere" glows with a soft yellow light, and next to it there is a beautiful view of the Dnieper, framed by two bridges - Old and New.

Near the "Sphere" is always cool, even on very hot days, so it attracts citizens. By the way, right next to the fountain is one of the universities of Dnepropetrovsk and therefore students and urban youth often gather near it. In addition, the "Sphere" is a place for collecting and training skateboarders.
