Park complex of October Square

Park complex of October Square is a wonderful picturesque place in the heart of Dnepropetrovsk. On the territory of the complex there is the greatest Cathedral, museum, cultural and exhibition center and a memorial in honor of law enforcement defenders. You can also find a beautiful park here. Therefore, coming here, you can not only have a great rest surrounded by beautiful nature, but also immerse yourself in the cultural life of society.

There was not a single tree in the square. It was all covered with steppe grass. A great contribution to the first steps for its improvement was made by Governor A.Y. Fabre, when in 1846 he planted an alley stretching from the Transfiguration Cathedral to Catherine Avenue.

Today, the park complex of October Square is one of the most beautiful places in Dnepropetrovsk. Hundreds of citizens and tourists come here every day.
