Holy Trinity Cathedral

Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk, St. Red Square, 7

Description:

Holy Trinity Cathedral was erected on the site of the very first city church - the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. A small wooden church after 40 years fell into disrepair, after which in 1860 a stone bell tower was built nearby, and later the Parable House and the church school were added.

In 1934, the temple was turned into a warehouse and was reopened only in 1942.

At the walls of the cathedral there are burials of the abbots of the cathedral, diocesan bishops and creators of the temple. In the cathedral itself there are such shrines as the icon “Weeping Savior”, the icon of the Holy Trinity, the icon of the Mother of God “Kazan”, “Iverskaya” and others.

In the Cathedral there are daily services (during the holidays two morning services) and demands are made.
