Description:
The South Bridge of Dnepropetrovsk is a road bridge across the Dnieper River, opened in December 2000. It connects residential areas - Pridneprovsk and Victory. The bridge was built in two stages - from 1982 to 1993 and from 1998 to 2000.
The main task of the bridge is to unload three other bridges of Dnipropetrovsk and shorten the path between the southern and southeastern parts of the city.
The bridge is 1248 meters long and 22 meters wide. In 2002, the construction of a road interchange on the left bank of the Dnieper was completed and an overpass through the railway was built.
