Forged sculpture park

In Donetsk there is a wonderful park with interesting compositions – a park of forged figures. The author and leader of the idea is V. Burduk, Honored Artist of the country.

The park opened in late summer 2001. The festival of blacksmithing skills at the international level, which is held annually in Donetsk, was awarded the same name with the park. Currently, more than a hundred artistic figures and compositions created from metal are installed on the territory of the park.

In the park there is a composition called “Bridge of Friendship”, which symbolizes relations between Russia and Ukraine.

During the XIV festival of forged figures, the park was visited by a representative of the Book of Records of Ukraine. The head of the park was awarded a diploma, which certified the presence of a kind of record – the diploma recorded 163 compositions, that is, the number of figures that were established before the opening of the festival.
