Metallurgical Plant Park

Not all guests, and even residents of Donetsk, know about the existence of another park of the city, owned by the local metallurgical plant. The opening of the park took place relatively recently - in 2004, and its official name - "City of Smiles".

The park turned out to be truly beautiful, and every weekend, both in summer and in winter, it attracts the workers of the plant. It is quite difficult for ordinary citizens to get here, since the park is corporate and serves exclusively for metallurgists.

What entertainment does not wait for guests in the town of smiles? This is a beautiful stream with swans, and a musical fountain that meets visitors at the entrance, waterfalls, a childhood city with a children's railway and even its own zoo with exotic animals.

But this is not all, well-groomed paths, alleys, flower beds, benches, executed by the latest word of landscape design, serve as a good basis for a full and comfortable rest for guests of the park. There is even its own Orthodox church of Ignatius of Mariupol.
