The miners’ park is located in the mining capital of Ukraine, Donetsk. It occupies a whole block in the Kalininsky district between Vladychansky, Maria Ulyanova and Hovnatanyan streets, Krasnoflotskaya.
Once on the territory of the present park there was a beam running towards the city river Kalmius. Then she fell asleep and organized a beautiful recreation park for residents of nearby residential areas. Both adults and children like to spend weekends here.
The hallmark of the Mine Builders Park is a unique slide for children, which is executed in the form of a figure of the famous fairy-tale hero Gulliver. At one time, the slide was located on the street Naberezhnaya, after it was moved to the park, the people began to call it “Gulliver”.
