Park zone "Donbass Arena"

The territory around the main stadium of Donetsk "Donbass Arena" is given under a park area intended for recreation of citizens and guests of the city. The development of the park project was carried out by specialists from Germany.

Unique and rare plants are planted in the park, brought here specifically from recreational reserves in different parts of Europe. They were the first to plant charlach oaks.

One of the attractions of the park is the stone garden. All stones of natural origin, and brought them from the quarries of all Ukraine. There is also an amazing artificial stream that simulates a parched bed.

The hallmark of the park "Donbass Arena" can be called a huge granite ball, made in the form of a football sword. With the help of special mechanisms, it rotates on water.

On the surface of the improvised ball are engraved terricon and football player, symbolizing the mining spirit and fans of the local football club.

Among other things, the park has a beautiful recreation area with translucent cascades of waterfalls, an artificial lake and light-dynamic fountains.
