Monument "Energetik" in Donetsk

Not far from the tram stop in front of the Yuzhelectrosetstroy plant of Ukrainian Donetsk, a monument to the worker-monter Energetik was erected. The opening of the monument occurred in 1979. The main task of the monument is to honor the glorious work of Donetsk power engineers.

The author of the project was Ukrainian sculptor Brin and architect Protsenko. The nine-meter sculpture, made of metal, is a figure of a monter with his hands raised up, in which he holds a coil of wire.

Yuzhelectrosetstroy, the worker to whom the monument is dedicated, is a well-known trust throughout Ukraine and abroad. He is engaged in the installation of high-voltage supports.
