Monument "Rivers of Donbass"

Description:
The monument “River of Donbass” is a forged sculpture-fountain in the city of Donetsk.
The erection of the monument took place in 2007, the sculpture is located on Pushkin Boulevard. The work on the manufacture of the monument was carried out by the union of Donetsk blacksmiths. The monument is made in the form of a Cossack boat made of steel. Decorative decorations of the boat are made of copper. The sail of the boat stretched to the sides in the form of wings.
On both sides of the boat are engraved the names of the largest rivers in the region. On starboard: Krynka, Mius, Kalchik, Salt. On the left side: Kalmius, Bakhmut, Seversky Donets and Wolf. The boat is located in a small pool with a mini waterfall.
Work on the manufacture of the monument lasted 2 months, according to blacksmiths, the most difficult thing was to forge wings.
