Museum of History of Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU)

The year of the history museum of Donetsk National Technical University was 1970. The main task of the museum is clearly to cultivate a sense of respect for the university, its history, its activities. The museum also tells about the traditions of the university, which are already quite numerous.

Going into the foyer of the university, you can see an interesting panel-genealogical tree of the National University. It shows what paths of development the university had to go through - from a mining technical school to a prestigious modern university.

The museum owns a unique diorama "Liberation of Donetsk in September 1943", created by artist G.P. Kubrak. The area of the museum is large enough, so various exhibitions, all kinds of scientific conferences, poetry evenings are constantly held here.

Graduates of the university like to hold meetings in the museum after many years of graduation.
