Museum of History of Donetsk National University (DonNU)

The Museum of History of Donetsk National University was founded in 1972. The initiative in creating a museum belongs to teachers and students of the university. The museum performs both a cognitive function, telling about the history of the university, and an educational one, helping students, graduate students and teachers in writing scientific articles.

The museum presents three directions of the collected material. The expositions of the first direction are devoted to the history of the pedagogical institute - its birth, formation, and achievements. The second direction tells about the history of the university itself. And the third one shows materials related to the history of all faculties of the university.

The museum has many interesting historical documents.
