The Museum of History and Development of the Donetsk Railway, opened in 2000 and located in the building of the former locomotive depot, is a large historical complex, including an extensive documentary exhibition and an amazing collection of full-scale samples of railway equipment.
The impressive exposition of the museum is a diverse collection of unique ancient photographs and documents, uniforms, insignia and paraphernalia of railway transport workers. Many interesting exhibits are on display to visitors, but the most amazing can be seen on the adjacent observation deck, namely samples of rare railway equipment: life-size locomotives, various types of cars and auxiliary railway equipment, various types of transport equipment and much more.
In the collections of the museum, amateurs and professionals will find expositions of interest to them and enjoy unique samples of everything related to the history and formation of the railway business!
