Museum of History of Priazov State Technical University

In the city of Mariupol (Donetsk region) is the Museum of History of the Priazov State Technical University (PGTU). It was founded in 1980 on the basis of the 7th educational building of the university of the same name.

The collections of the museum number more than 1000 exhibits. These are photos and albums, works and books of university staff, foreign awards, certificates and souvenirs. Attending the first lectures, you can get acquainted with the history of the technical university, with the biography of people who have done a lot of work for the formation of the university.

Of particular interest is the exhibition hall dedicated to technical achievements. They are presented by models, working models and descriptions of the latest inventions of our scientists. All the work done in the museum gives a clear understanding of the closely related history, science and technology.

Currently, the PGTU History Museum is actively engaged in holding meetings with legendary scientists. There are video lectures called “Horizons of Science”. It is a good tradition to hold exhibitions of city and university artists.
