People's Museum of Military Glory

The People's Museum of Military Glory is located in the village of Mangush, in the Donetsk region. The museum was created in honor of the 50th anniversary of the formation of the USSR, in 1972, in the Lenin Palace of Culture.

The museum presents many exhibits that recreate the old days of the Soviet Union – working days of workers, models of events of revolutions and uprisings, the reign of Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin, the events of the Great Patriotic War.

After a major renovation in 2003, the museum was left without its premises in the Palace of Culture, and now the entire exposition lies on preservation in one of the houses of the private sector.

At the moment, the district council and the district administration want to resume the existence of the museum, and continue its activities.
