Potocki Castle
Description:
The fortified castle palace in Stanislav (Ivano-Frankivsk) was built by the founder of the city, the Kiev voivode Andrei Pototsky on the site of his father’s wooden hunting castle. Well preserved only the palace fence, decorated with knightly symbols. The main complex of buildings lost its original appearance, as it was repeatedly rebuilt and adapted for the needs of various military departments. Until 2004, a military hospital was located on the territory. Now the building is privately owned, it is planned to create a museum and exhibition complex.
