About the company:

The cathedral is more than 600 years old. Princes Koriatovich, who ruled Podolia, built a stone version of the temple in 1370, the founder of the stone cathedral is considered Bishop Buchatsky (1502-1517).

The Chapel of the Most Holy and the Consolation of the Immaculate Virgin Mary were added to it in 1547-1562. Bishop Leonard Slonczewski did it. In 1672-1699, when the Turks dominated the city, the cathedral was a Muslim mosque. The minaret, which was built at this time, rose 36.5 m up and had 145 stone steps. In 1756, when the Poles again came to the city, a statue of the Virgin was erected on it. It was 3.5 meters high, stood on the globe and crescent. Around her head is a halo of 12 stars.
