Description:

The Trinitarian Church was built in 1765 by monks of the Trinitarian Order, which was created to ransom slaves from the Turks. The church, its external and internal decoration has survived to our days in its original form and is an architectural monument of the XVIII century.

The main facade of the building is decorated with pilasters and a pediment with various sculptures and vases. The interior was painted by a famous master, but the paintings have not survived. In the church there are seven altars, which are decorated with icons and lush stucco. The church building is enclosed by a stone wall with gates decorated with statues of the founders of the Trinitarian Order. In Soviet times, the church housed an archive. Now the church belongs to the Greek Catholic Church and bears the name of St. Yosafat.
