Prut River Valley
Ivano-Frankivsk region, eastern Carpathians
Description:
The valley of the Prut River (left tributary of the Danube) is one of the most picturesque places of the Carpathians. The place has a mild climate, an amazing variety of flora and fauna. Transparent lakes, clean rivers, bubbling waterfalls and fresh air create excellent conditions for family holidays.
The most famous resort of the valley is a small cozy town of Jaremche. There are many cafes, shops, holiday homes and hotels where you can stay. Near the city are the Probiy waterfall and Yaremchansky canyon, the most interesting area for rafting. Remarkably, there is an asphalted road along almost the entire site. In winter, lovers of outdoor activities also come here - forty kilometers from Yaremche, the Bukovel ski center is located, which is rightfully considered the best in Ukraine.
In the valley of the river there are many more picturesque cities and towns that attract tourists with their hospitality, excursions and even the opportunity to collect mushrooms and berries. One of them is PGT. Vorokhta, S. Mikulichin, S. Tatarov, S. Polnitsa, S. Yablunitsa.
