The village of Solotvino

Solotvino is a beautiful village located in the foothills of the Carpathians, in the Tyachevsky district, on the right bank of the Tisa River. It is surrounded by mountain ranges "Salavan" and "Magura".

The village is known as a place of treatment for patients with bronchial asthma and other types of respiratory diseases using the method of speleotherapy.

Also in Solotvino there are unique salt lakes, their chemical composition has a positive effect on human health.

The lakes were formed on the site of old collapsed mines. A large number of tourists annually come to the village to recover from their diseases.
