Museum of musical instruments Kumlyk
About the company:
The private museum of Hutsul life, ethnography and musical instruments was opened in his house by Verovinsky musician and collector Roman Kumlik. He collected exhibits for the museum for 30 years. These are folk clothes made of linen and leather, and painted clay plates, and Hutsul axes-barts, and banknotes of different times, and many other ancient things and objects of folk life. The greatest variety is the collection of folk musical instruments: violins, trembits, cymbals, drymny, kobzas. A special pride of the collector is the Hutsul bagpipe - duda. The host himself conducts tours of the museum, accompanying the story about each instrument with the performance of folk melodies and songs. Visiting the museum must be arranged in advance.
