Landscape Alley

Description:

The landscape alley was laid in the early 1980s by the architect Avram Miletsky and runs along the line of defense structures of the X-XIII century.

The purpose of its construction is to create an opportunity for tourists to view the views of Podil and the Transdnieper from the height of the historical Upper City.

The landscape alley has long been a favorite place of rest for citizens. It is enough to leave the noisy Big Zhytomyr and turn towards the tracts of Gonchary, Kozhemyaki and Degtyary - and a beautiful view will open. Especially Kievans like to relax on the quiet mountain Poskotinka, which was named so because of the fact that cattle used to graze here.
