Monument to Mikhail Grushevsky
Description:
The monument to Mikhail Hrushevsky in Kiev is located on the corner of Vladimirskaya Street and Taras Shevchenko Boulevard, near the Teacher’s House. This location of the monument was not chosen by chance. In the building of the current Teacher’s House, the Central Rada was previously located, which was headed by Hrushevsky. On April 29, 1918, the Central Rada elected Mikhail Hrushevsky as the first president of the Ukrainian People’s Republic.
