Monument to the Lanterns in Love

Monument to Lovers Lanterns in Kiev is located on Independence Square, near the central glass dome. It is set on Valentine’s Day Eve in 2009. The author of the idea Vladimir Belokon created a number of such metal masterpieces.

This new place for romantic dates carries a line of light, unquenchable love. The monument is a composition in which a two-meter young cavalier-lantern hugs his beautiful bride in a bright pink robe. They sit on a forged bench on which any other couple can sit. The author of the composition is sure that if the date takes place in this place, the feelings of lovers will never cool down.

This abstract performance of tender feelings is very popular among Kyiv residents and guests of the city. It is an excellent decoration for photography.
