Antonov Airport
Description:
Antonov International Airport is located 25 kilometers from Kiev and 2 kilometers from Gostomel and is currently used by both experimental and civil aviation.
Until 2000, the airport was called “Gostomel”. Currently, the airfield is certified according to the meteorological minimum of the first category of landing ICAO (with 2 landing courses) and is included in the State Register of Airports of Ukraine. On the territory there are heated closed hangars, which allow you to perform repair and routine work on aircraft of different classes.
Near the aircraft parking is a loading platform, which allows loading and unloading from cars.
On the territory of the airfield are based the largest transport vessels - An-124-100 and An-225, which are owned by Antonov Airlines. Antonov Airport has the status of the official carrier of the UN and the National Carrier of cargoes of Ukraine.
