Color and music fountain

In 2011, a fountain complex was opened on the square near the Krivoy Rog City Executive Committee. This event took place as part of the celebration of the next City Day and very pleased the local residents.

In the center there is a bowl of the main fountain, which gives a water salute to a height of 8 meters, and around the perimeter - another 8 fountains of smaller diameter. The water jets dynamically change their height to the music of Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin. In addition to the mesmerizing sounds of classical music in the evening, the fountain also gives a beautiful color show.

The fountain complex is built in the form of a huge compass, and metal arrows mounted in the pavement slabs point to the four cardinal directions. Bronze tablets will tell you how many kilometers from Kryvyi Rih, for example, to Paris, Delhi or London. Among the 16 such signposts are the names of the sister cities of Krivoy Rog – Russian Nizhny Tagil and Chinese Handan. By the way, to them from Krivoy Rog 2084 km and 6490 km, respectively.
