The main building of the medical university on Pekarskaya Street, 52, was built in 1892 by the architect J. Braunzeis in the style of historicism (neo-renaissance). This is an example of a complex of buildings for the needs of a higher educational institution of the late XIX century. The complex was built in the picturesque eastern suburb of Lviv, in a park environment.
