Fountain of Youth (Children and the Frog)

Sculpture-fountain “Youth” (French “Jeunesses”) is a sculptural composition installed in Odessa by the French sculptor of the Art Nouveau era Max Blond, called by Odessans “Children and the Frog” or “Narcissus”.

During its stay on the Theatre Square, the sculptural composition was repeatedly attacked by vandals - fragments of limbs were fought off from the figures of children, the frog was broken or stolen. The consequences of vandalism were eliminated every time by the city services.
