Anchor Museum
About the company:
At present, the anchors were moved from the Odessa Maritime Museum to the Morvozal. The exhibition of anchors is presented under the open sky.
Here you can see such types of anchors as goose, Khokhlovsky and Admiralty, anchor of Matrosov. There are also three, four and five-horned cat anchors that were comfortable enough for Viking rooks.
Currently, these devices are widely used on river vessels and fishing schooners. The ancient Greeks called anchor - "ancura", which translated meant - hook, curve, curved, so the word "anchor" can be considered international.
It should be noted that the Anchor Museum pays tribute to the ships sunk in the sea, as well as an attempt to restore the Museum of the Navy in Ukraine. Opening hours: from 10:00 to 17:00, weekends - Sunday, Monday.
