Previously, the fence included four towers, but now only two have been saved. One of them is the East Tower, located on the side of the hotel yard. The reconstruction of the Western Tower touched in 1984 and ended 11 years later, in 1995. The tower belonged to the Svyatogorsk State Historical and Architectural Reserve and served as an exhibition space.
In 2000, both towers were taken over by the monastery. From 2003 to 2004, the East Tower was restored. Work was carried out on the reconstruction of the facade and roof of the tower. Nowadays, visiting the sightseeing routes of SGIAZ, you can see these towers firsthand.
