S.P. Korolev Museum of Cosmonautics

The Korolev Museum of Cosmonautics was opened in the city of Zhytomyr, where in 1907 the future founder of practical space exploration was born. The memorial part of the museum is located in a small house where the Korolev family lived. The interiors were restored from his mother’s memories. The exposition "Cosmos" presents originals and models of spacecraft, suits and other equipment of astronauts. One of the most valuable exhibits is a capsule with the soil of the moon, donated to NASA.
