The port of Punta del Este is a huge area in the seaside town of Punta del Este in eastern Uruguay. There are many hotels, cafes, as well as developed tourist infrastructure - yacht clubs and coastal restaurants.
The port of Punta del Este is a tourist area – there are no huge transport terminals and heavy industrial enterprises typical of large ports. In Punta del Este, there are hotels and hostels of various categories with access to the beach.
The coast is perfect for walking - there is a great beach equipped with sunbeds and awnings, and the promenade, surrounded by high-rise hotels, and a small rocky beach, which overlooks the eastern tip of the Bay of La Plata and the Atlantic Ocean.
