About the company:

The National Museum of Manchester History, also known as the National Museum of Labor, is one of the main attractions in the city, which concentrates various materials on the history of British workers. It was designed by renowned architect Price Henry and is located on the corner of Bridge Street and Water Street.

The exposition of the museum tells visitors about the stages of development of democracy in the country, as well as about the everyday life of workers, including their leisure and entertainment. Various photographs, personal diaries, printed materials, as well as labor objects are collected here. Some of them are over 200 years old.

A separate hall is reserved for demonstrations of workers, in which original posters with slogans about the payment of salaries are collected. You will also be able to see various examples related to the trade union movement. There are about 2,000 of them. Particularly popular are exhibits relating to the Labour Party, the former Communist Party of Great Britain, the cooperative movement, as well as the Department of Work and Pensions.
