Description:

Villa Park has been the home arena of Aston Villa Football Club since 1897. The stadium hosted 16 international England matches. It is the only stadium in England where international matches have been held for three centuries. The stadium has the fourth highest UEFA classification. Initially, the stadium was planned to hold ring races, but in 1914 the treadmills were removed and the stadium acquired its current form.

Villa Park consists of four stands - the Holt End (13,472) - the largest grandstand of the stadium, the Trinity Road Stand (12954), the North Stand (7086) and the Doug Ellis Stand. The latter is named after the famous president of Aston Villa.
