Edinburgh, Scotland

City Edinburgh Tour

Description:

Walking tour of the old town. A visit to the Grassmarket area, a walk along the Royal Mile with a visit to the tartan factory, the old police station, the childhood museum, a visit to St. Giles Cathedral. The strict interiors of the cathedral are complemented by wonderful stained glass windows. Inside is an amazing chapel of the Knights of thistle, decorated with carvings of whole oak. The end of the day is better spent in the “New Town”, the classic appearance of which contrasts so much with the picturesque medieval turmoil of the Old Town.
Visit Edinburgh Castle, where the national shrines of Scotland are kept - the crown, scepter and stone of fate, on which Scottish kings have been crowned for centuries. Interesting places to visit: the chapel of St. Margaret (Saint Margaret) of the XII century, a prison of the XIX century, the One-o-clock-gun gun (Van Oklok Gan).
