Sterling Castle and Loch Lomond Lake (Loch Lomond)

Description:

Sterling Castle is one of Scotland’s most prominent historical sites. The former residence of the Scottish Kings of Stuart. The history of the Castle is closely connected with the history of the Scottish monarchy, the Argyll Apartments - a 17th century apartment building, the Church of the Holy Cross - the last one that still remembers the coronation of a medieval Scottish monarch.

Loch Lomond is one of the largest and most picturesque Scottish lakes, located near Glasgow.

The Scots believe that King Arthur lived here.

Stop in the coastal village of Lasse, which has preserved its ancient appearance. You can take an hour-long cruise from one of the two ports.
