Reserve trails of the Northwest Highlands

Description:

This tour can start in any order and choose only the most consonant routes.

1. A visit to one of the most beautiful canyons in the whole of Great Britain - Corrishaloh Gorge. For a kilometer and a half it, like a knife, cuts through a series of waterfalls, which is crowned by the thundering waterfall Mezah falling from a 50-meter height. Watching this rapid flow of water from a slightly swaying Victorian suspension bridge or from a platform hanging over the abyss is an exciting and exciting experience that many tourists come back here again and again.

2. For climbers, I can offer a hiking route to one of the highest peaks of the Northwest Highlands - Ben Wyvis (1046 m), from where it opens.

3. A walk along the Black Water River among the centuries-old Caledonian pines (see short video). This trail, known here as the Silverbridge Forest Walk, leads to a fabulously beautiful 18th-century arch bridge that offers stunning views of snow-capped mountain peaks. Here I want to sit down and listen to what this wonderful river with such a strange name Black Water is talking about. And of course, to drink its purest and delicious water.

4. Walk to the waterfalls of the Roghi (see short video on the left). It is not surprising that everyone, first of all, tends to the suspension bridge, which offers not only a stunning view of the waterfall, but also the most convenient to watch the Atlantic salmon jumping on the rapids, spawning. There are many places to relax, where you can sit down and enjoy the unique Scottish nature. Sometimes it seems that a fabulous dwarf lurks behind the neighboring mossy cat, or the elves, who are called faeries, are about to swirl in their magical dance...
