Leeds

Tour of the castles of Kent County, England.

Description:

The English county of Kent was part of the Roman Empire, later conquered by the Anglo-Saxons. In the 6th century, Canterbury, Kent, became the Christian metropolis of the entire island.

In Kent there are about 10 medieval castles, each of which is worthy of close attention. Perhaps the most romantic of them is Leeds Castle, built in the 12th century on the island.

Dover Castle is located on the banks of the Pas de Calais and has been a defensive structure since ancient times. Now it is restored and you can see the interiors of the 12th century.

My tour of Kent Castles can last from one to several days - depending on your wishes and preferences.

After the tour, we can visit the real British Kent pubs, which are much more colorful than London pubs.

Discover the good old England!
