About the company:

The Liverpool Museum is a kind of novelty of the city, which appeared in 2011 on the site of the former Museum of Liverpool Life. It is located on the embankment of the Mersey River in a non-standard building, fully reflecting the trends of modern architectural art. It is owned by Danish architectural company 3NX.

In 2012, the Council of Europe recognized the Liverpool Museum as the “Best Museum of the Year”. The main exhibition of the museum tells about the history of the city of different periods, its role in the life of the country and the world - as Liverpool is still one of the most important ports in the world. More than 6 thousand exhibits are devoted to all these aspects.

The Museum has several records and awards in addition to the Museum of the Year. It is the largest museum in the world that tells the story of a provincial city. Moreover, in the last 100 years in the UK it is the largest of the national museums built.

Of particular interest to visitors is the unique exposition dedicated to the Beatles, whose existence and creativity are closely connected with this city. You can even see the scene where the future Beatles performed together for the first time.
