Excursion to the British Parliament

The Palace of Westminster has served as the capital residence of English kings since the early 11th century.
There are now meetings of the British Parliament in the palace, which you and I can attend. We are taken to the guest galleries, where we can watch the debates in the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
By the way, do you know why in the House of Lords everything is red and in the House of Commons everything is green?
