Westminster Abbey
Description:
It is the coronation site of 38 English kings and queens. It was founded by King Edward the Confessor in 1066. 18 medieval kings are buried here, many of them married.
The last royal wedding was on 29 April 2011 between Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton. It is also the burial place of great men, among them Dickens and Darwin.
Please note that only a guide with the highest qualification of the Blue Badge, awarded by the Institute of Tourism, can conduct excursions in Westminster Abbey.
