Pret a Manger is an English fast food chain. The first Pret a Manger opened in London in 1986. Its owners—college friends Sinclair and Julian, who had never been in business before—wanted to offer office workers wanting a snack at lunch, quality sandwiches made from natural ingredients. Today, more than three hundred “Pret a Manger” points have been opened, one hundred and eighty of them are in London. The annual turnover of the company exceeds three hundred and eighty million pounds.
Freshness and usefulness of food is a trend of Pret a Manger. Sandwiches are made of whole grain bread, nothing that contains preservatives is added to the filling and salads. There are always fresh juices on sale. All unsold food is donated to charity.
