Ordsall Manor

322 Ordsall Ln, Ordsall, Salford M5 3AN, UK

Description:

Ordsall Hall is a unique historical landmark. The mansion consists of several separate parts that were completed to the central building in different historical epochs, which affected their architecture. Over the years, this house was replaced by many owners, but in 1938 it passed into the power of the City Council, and soon a local history museum was opened here, which has survived to the present day. Here are unique exhibits, miraculously preserved to our days: old furniture, household items, clothes. In one of the halls of the museum there is a small library, which stores historical books and manuscripts.

In the left wing of the building there is a hall for solemn events and a restaurant with traditional English cuisine. In the courtyard of the mansion there is a luxurious garden with neatly trimmed trees and shrubs, where you can walk with pleasure and enjoy the local scenery. Ordsall Hall is an architectural monument and is very popular with tourists.
